Re-seasoning Method
1. Begin by washing the cookware with warm water and a soft-bristled brush, then place it on a heat source to dry thoroughly.
2. Prepare a piece of fatty pork skin (or cooking oil) and rub it repeatedly inside the pan several times.
3. After seasoning, let the oil remain in the pan for 5-10 hours to ensure the pan fully absorbs it.
Maintenance Tips
1. When cleaning, use a soft brush with warm water, and it should clean very well. We do not recommend using steel wool or detergent.
2. If rust appears on the cookware, clean the rust with a scouring pad, then repeat the seasoning process.
3. During use and maintenance, the cast iron pot can absorb oils from cooking, forming a protective layer, creating a naturally non-stick surface over time.
4. The cast iron pot is suitable for use with all types of spatulas.
Notes
1. Rinse thoroughly in warm water, then dry well. It can be placed in a warm oven for 15 minutes, or on low heat, to ensure it has dried well.
2. Because cast iron cooking diffuses heat perfectly, it is preferable to use on low heat.
3. Overheating may damage the cast iron, causing the contents to stick.
4. Do not touch the cast surface with any sharp or metal objects.
5. Pre-heat the cookware for 5 minutes at low heat, before increasing the temperature.
6. Despite efforts for accuracy, there may be some reasonable error due to manual measurement.
7. Actual product colours may vary due to monitor settings & lightings.
