Seasoning Method:

1. Begin by washing the cookware with warm water and a soft-bristled brush, then place it on a heat source to dry thoroughly.

2. Prepare a piece of fatty pork skin (or cooking oil) and rub it repeatedly inside the pan several times.

3. After seasoning, let the oil remain in the pan for 5-10 hours to ensure the pan fully absorbs it.

Maintenance Tips:

1. New cookware lacks an oil layer, so be sure to dry it over low heat after each use initially! Then lightly coat it with a thin layer of cooking oil. (After prolonged use, you may not need to oil it every time). This also helps prevent rusting!

2. When cleaning, use a soft brush with warm water, and it should clean very well. We do not recommend using steel wool or detergent.

3. If rust appears on the cookware, clean the rust with a scouring pad, then repeat the seasoning process.

4. During use and maintenance, the cast iron pot can absorb oils from cooking, forming a protective layer, creating a naturally non-stick surface over time.

5. The uncoated cast iron pot is suitable for use with all types of spatulas.
