Description:

This versatile cast iron grill pan is perfect for all your frying and grilling needs. Featuring a dual-zone design, the smooth, flat center is ideal for frying eggs, cooking pancakes, or searing meat slices, while the ridged edges create authentic char marks on steaks and vegetables. With regular use and proper care, the surface develops a natural non-stick seasoning that improves over time. A slightly raised rim contains liquids to prevent spills, and radiating ridges on the base ensure even heat distribution with minimal hot spots. This pan is compatible with gas, induction, and ceramic cooktops, ovens, and grills, making it a versatile addition to any kitchen.

Features:

  • Crafted from high-quality cast iron for exceptional heat retention and long-lasting durability.
  • The oval shape provides ample cooking surface, perfect for grilling whole fish, multiple steaks, or assorted vegetables at once.
  • Dual helper handles offer a secure, balanced grip for easy and safe lifting, even when the pan is fully loaded.

Seasoning Method:

1. Begin by washing the cookware with warm water and a soft-bristled brush, then place it on a heat source to dry thoroughly.

2. Prepare a piece of fatty pork skin (or cooking oil) and rub it repeatedly inside the pan several times.

3. After seasoning, let the oil remain in the pan for 5-10 hours to ensure the pan fully absorbs it.

Maintenance Tips:

1. New cookware lacks an oil layer, so be sure to dry it over low heat after each use initially! Then lightly coat it with a thin layer of cooking oil. (After prolonged use, you may not need to oil it every time.) This also helps prevent rusting!

2. When cleaning, use a soft brush with warm water, and it should clean very well. We do not recommend using steel wool or detergent.

3. If rust appears on the cookware, clean the rust with a scouring pad, then repeat the seasoning process.

4. During use and maintenance, the cast iron pot can absorb oils from cooking, forming a protective layer, creating a naturally non-stick surface over time.

5. The uncoated cast iron pot is suitable for use with all types of spatulas.
